The Osa Peninsula

The Osa Peninsula of Costa Rica is one of the world most biologically diverse places on earth. 2.5 % of the world’s biodiversity can be found here! Amongst the very endangered and rare species that live in this beautiful humid forest are: Scarlet Macaws, Jaguars, Squirrel Monkeys, and Sloths – just to mention a few.

Most people that visit the Osa fall in love with it – and don’t want to leave, or come back. The Osa is not a place for the “normal” type of tourist. If you’re seeking adventure and want to have your privacy, you’re right on the Osa! The roads not cemented and full of holes, and to get down here you have to either fly or take a long (!) car or bus trip from San Jose.
